Summer Flower
So pink, like morning light. The centered secrets shine gold, dance brightly against the sea of green.
a red-hatted man rings his bell outside the door shoppers hustle by
I wasn’t sure I liked this when I first wrote it. I felt it was too political. Now it’s kind of growing on me.
Garbage
Flotsam. Jetsam. Garbage cycling in mid-ocean. “Not my problem” soon becomes My Back Yard.
